Blocking and Reporting Users

## How to Block Someone If someone is bothering you or you simply don't want them to have access to your profile, blocking is immediate and effective. 1. Visit the person's profile (or find them in your messages/notifications) 2. Click the three-dot menu (⋮) 3. Select **Block User** 4. Confirm the action **What blocking does:** - The blocked person can no longer see your profile, posts, or stories - They cannot send you messages or interact with your content - Any existing messages between you are hidden from both sides - They are not notified that they've been blocked — from their perspective, it looks like your account may have been deleted or made private - If they were subscribed to you, their subscription is effectively voided (though they won't be charged again) You can unblock someone later from your Settings if you change your mind. ## How to Report Someone Reporting alerts our moderation team to review a user or specific piece of content. 1. Click the three-dot menu on any profile, post, or message 2. Select **Report** 3. Choose the category that best describes the issue: - Harassment or bullying - Spam or misleading content - Inappropriate or illegal content - Copyright violation - Underage user - Other 4. Add any additional context or details that would help our team understand the situation 5. Submit the report All reports are reviewed by a real person on our moderation team, typically within 24-48 hours. You'll receive a notification about the outcome.
