When Your Subscription Expires
## What Happens When a Subscription Ends When a subscription expires — whether because you cancelled, turned off auto-renewal, or a payment failed — a few things change. **What you lose access to:** - All subscriber-only posts from that creator. These will appear locked if you visit their profile. - The ability to send direct messages to the creator (unless they've enabled messages from non-subscribers in their settings). **What you keep:** - Any PPV content you purchased individually remains unlocked. Those purchases are permanent regardless of your subscription status. - Your bookmarks and collections are preserved. However, the bookmarked content itself may be locked, so clicking on a bookmark might show you a subscribe prompt instead of the content. - Your message history is preserved. You can still read past conversations, but you may not be able to send new messages depending on the creator's settings. - Your likes and comments on that creator's posts remain in place. **Coming back:** If you want to regain access, just visit the creator's profile and subscribe again. There's no special "re-subscribe" process — it works exactly the same as subscribing for the first time. You'll get immediate access to their full content library again, including anything they posted while you were away.
